Chianciano Terme Italy

The city of Chianciano Terme is located in the region of Tuscany in Italy. The city lies in the Province of Siena and it can be found about 90 kilometers southeast of Florence. It is also 50 kilometers southeast of Siena. The city of Chianciano Terme is situated between the Val d’Orcia and the Valdichiana. Near to Chianciano Terme you will find the municipalities of Sarteano, Chiusi, Pienza and Montepulciano.

When you look at various archeological records you will find that this city is able to trace its history back to the 5th Century BC. At this point you will find that Etruscans who arrived here had built a temple which was dedicated to the God of Good Health. This temple was located close to the Silene springs. Today you will find the newer section of Chianciano Terme – this is the Terme section – lies here. As the news of the curative powers of the waters of Chianciano Terme became well known in the Roman times many Roman villas began to be built in the area near these thermal baths.

It is a known historical fact that Horace who was the leading Roman Lyric Poet during the time of Augustus came to Chianciano Terme on the advice of his physician. He arrived here around the 1st Century BC. After he returned back to Rome he spread the news about the city and its curative waters. While you will find historical accounts about the city of Chianciano Terme there is little physical archeological evidence to be found. However by the 12th and the 13th Centuries the city of Chianciano Terme came under the rule of the Manenti Counts who were the Lords of Sarteano.

Due to its position near the Via Francigena which is the main medieval connection from Rome to France you will see the development of the city. As a result of this development Chianciano Terme reached a degree of judicial autonomy by 1287. At this point the city established it own statutes. In the 14th Century there was a dispute between the city states of Siena and Orvieto about possession of Chianciano Terme. The dispute was settled when Siena won control over the city.

Today you will find a city which provides its visitors with the various facilities they require. Among the various places that you can visit while you are here you will find it quite pleasant to see the Civic Archeological Museum of the Waters. In this museum you will find artifacts which were excavated from various sites around the city. Another interesting place that you should think about visiting in Chianciano Terme is that of The Museum of Art. Here you will see many works of art on display which has been done by artistes like Tiepolo, Rene Magritte, Guercino and Renato Guttuso.

Chiang Mai Thailand

In the country of Thailand you will find the city of Chiang Mai. This city sometimes is referred to as Chiengmai or Chiangmai. Within the Savanna Safari Zone you will be able to look at animals that generally live in the African savanna. Here you will be able to see about 34 species and 320 different animals like wildebeests, white rhinoceroses, giraffes, zebras and many others.

The final area of the Chiang Mai Night Life Safari is that of the Jaguar Trail Zone. In this zone you will see over 400 animals. There will also be 50 rare smaller animal species to see here. This final trail is a walking trails around 1.2 kilometer “Swan Lake”. The environment that you will find here is that of enchanting flower gardens. The various animals that you will see here include ones like Brazilian Tapirs, Capybaras, White Tigers, Jaguars, fishing cats, miniature horses, squirrel monkeys, crowned cranes, and clouded leopards to name but a few.

Columbus USA

In the state of Ohio in USA you will find the capital of the city and the largest city in that state. This is the city of Columbus. The city is considered as the county seat of Franklin County. Some parts of the city have extended into the Delaware and Fairfield counties as well. This city can be found at the junction of the Rivers Olentangy and Scioto. This city was named after Christopher Columbus the explorer who “found” America. In 1812 the city of Columbus came into existence and the various functions of the state capital began in 1816.

While there are many places that you can visit while you are in this state you will find that Columbus has some fascinating sights of its own. These sights will include a trip to the Scioto Riverfront. Here you will be able to look at a to-scale replica of the Santa Maria. This replica ship was built and installed here in 1992 to commemorate the 500 year anniversary of Columbus’s discovery of America. On the other hand if you prefer looking at nature you will enjoy yourself at the Franklin Park Conservatory. This is a botanical garden which opened in 1895. The conservatory is situated in Franklin Park and is just east of downtown Columbus.

For museum lovers you will find that Columbus is home to a number of different museums. For one such visit you see the Kelton House Museum and Garden. This museum is dedicated to Victorian life. It was built in 1852 and it was the home of three generations of Keltons. Additionally during the time of the Underground Railroad this house was a documented station. In the present time the museum hosted the “Son of Heaven: Imperial Arts of China” exhibit. This was a cultural exchange exhibition from China which showcased many artifacts used by the ancient Chinese emperors.

For a place that your kids are sure to love, you may want to take a trip into the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. This zoo and aquarium is famous the world over for the many animals who live here. Dallas USA

The city of Dallas is the 3rd largest city in the state of Texas. You will also find that country wide it is the eight largest city in USA. We stayed at the tryp pal hotel in Mallorca Spain, one of the most beautiful and scenic locations ever. Personal tips are it is ideal to visit any time you feel like all year. The weather is pleasant it is well located five minutes’ walk from the train /bus station. The central location is the most appealing factor of the entire trip. Everything else was neatly equipped and hygienically maintained and our room was clean and comfortable. The ameneties were basically equipped making our stay simple. Starting from as little as $329 per week you cannot find affordable prices than that. It is a bargain and I have loved booking with them not only was my trip superb but also saved me 60% of flight prices. They have tie ups with various multinational flight services. This is a win-win situation for me when all the travel needs are fitted in a budget where I do not have to put a stress on the monthly budget.
